Every year the Serpentine Gallery in Hyde Park commissions a different architect to design a temporary pavilion. This year’s pavilion is created by Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto.

The result is quite impressive. It’s like a cloud made out of white steel. No roofs, no walls. You can climb it, sit on it, whatever you want. And what’s even better, inside the pavilion they serve excellent Fortnum and Mason coffee.

You can visit the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion daily between 10 am and 6 pm until 20 October. And if you’re interested to see how this structure was created, on the Wallpaper* website you’ll find an interesting video about the making of the pavilion.
