Wat is Tallinn toch een leuke stad voor een stedentrip! Hoewel het er heel gezellig in de zomermaanden schijnt te zijn, koos ik er juist voor om Tallinn midden in de winter te bezoeken. Het voordeel: veel minder toeristen, lagere hotelprijzen, maar vooral: sneeuw. Zo’n mooie, oude stad bedekt met een laagje sneeuw maakt alles nog mooier. Maar koud is het ook! Natuurlijk kan je je daarop kleden, maar je zal zien dat je toch regelmatig behoefte hebt om binnen op te warmen met een warme maaltijd of lekkere kop koffie.
