One of the things I love about London is that it has so many beautiful parks. Sure, the city can be smelly and polluted with all its traffic fumes, but there’s always a park nearby where you can escape the city buzz and relax. This morning I woke up early and went to Battersea Park, which is not far from where I live. It seemed like every dog owner (which I’m not) in the neighborhood had the same idea, because there was a crazy amount of dogs running around. But besides that it was still very calm and quiet.
I’m not even close to having seen all the parks in London, but so far this park is definitely one of my favorites. And if you’re lucky you’ll see some men playing cricket in white uniforms as well. How British can it get?! I must admit that the cricket picture above was taken the previous time I was in the park. I guess cricket players don’t wake up this early. Or maybe they’re just afraid of all those dogs…
