If you've never been to Africa, South Africa is the perfect place to start. It has it all: incredible landscapes, wild animals, a delicious (both modern and traditional) food scene, and let's not forget the vineyards and wine. In general, it's also more modern than other African countries and more comfortable to travel in with most roads in excellent condition.
