I’m a bit of a chocoholic. Nothing new for people who have known me for a while. I thought that by now I kind of gained control over my addiction, but London is just full of temptations. This Saturday I walked by this place called Ben’s Cookies and I couldn’t resist but to buy their Triple Chocolate Chunk cookie. Yes, that’s right: triple….with chunks. It’s huge and the price depends on the weight (mine was £1,46). I’m not even gonna guess how many calories that one counts, but I assume that after eating it I pretty much reached my limit for the day.

There are however more people like me in this city. So today I joined the London Chocolate Group (it’s like a support group for chocoholics that encourages you to eat more chocolate). We met at Choccywoccydoodah, famous for it’s sculptured cakes. For those of you who haven’t heard of them before, here’s a fragment of their television show:

Upstairs is a small café where we made an effort to try most of the cakes they were selling. To be honest, the cakes are good but not that great. However, the shop is definitely worth a visit. So I guess there’s nothing I can do but to explore the rest of London in order to find you the best chocolate ever. I’ll keep you posted!.
