Or, if you take the high speed service from St Pancras only 1,5 hour. The Tudor-style houses with their tiny doors (how small were people back then?), the funny names on the doors (<em>The house with two front doors, The house with the seat&#8230;<\/em>), the views and the cobbled streets, they all make it hard to put your camera away at some point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And as all this walking around on a sunny day will make you thirsty, I was very pleased to see there is&nbsp;no shortage of cute little caf\u00e9s either. For tea, make sure to go to the &#8211; very British &#8211; traditional <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/thecobblesrye\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cobbles Tea Room<\/a>&nbsp;and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apothecaryrye.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Apothecary<\/a>&nbsp;(pictured above) is a great place for coffee and lunch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-4 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"445\" height=\"667\" data-id=\"7911\" src=\"https:\/\/urbanpixxels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Rye-the-Cobbles-tea-room-2.jpg\" alt=\"The picture perfect streets of Rye, England.
