This city is different! It&#8217;s organized and chaotic, calm and loud, crazy and overwhelming at the same time. As much as you hear about Tokyo, you have to see it to believe it. These are <em>o-mikuji<\/em>, fortunes written on paper. If the fortune is good, you can keep it. Having pain somewhere? Until you go to Shibuya Crossing, the busiest intersection in the world. Crossing the street with thousands of people at the same time&#8230;And of course, it works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wedding season at the Meiji Shrine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1800\" height=\"1202\" src=\"https:\/\/urbanpixxels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/24-11147-post\/Tokyo-Japan-meiji-jingu-shrine.jpg\" alt=\"Favorite Things to Do &amp; Places to Eat in Tokyo - Video &amp; Photos on Urban Pixxels (urbanpixxels.com) | Meiji Shrine \" class=\"wp-image-11156\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We came to see Tokyo&#8217;s largest shrine Meiji-Jingu, but got slightly distracted by all the weddings that were going on. I saw people drinking the water, washing their hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Turns out they&#8217;re for both. They have several restaurants in Tokyo, but I had them <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/63MbBBh67DS2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>. It&#8217;s a small restaurant, so you probably have to wait in line but in this case it&#8217;s worth it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And if after all that sweet stuff you need some good coffee, walk to <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/N3gg2a3hW1N2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Little Nap Coffee Roasters<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Memory Lane&#8217;s Food Alley<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1800\" height=\"1177\" src=\"https:\/\/urbanpixxels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/24-11147-post\/Tokyo-Japan-Food-Cooking-Memory-Lane-Piss-Alley-Steam.jpg\" alt=\"Favorite Things to Do &amp; Places to Eat in Tokyo - Video &amp; Photos on Urban Pixxels (urbanpixxels.com) | Memory Lane also known as Piss Alley\" class=\"wp-image-11164\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the highlights in Tokyo for me was eating in Memory Lane, also known as &#8216;Piss Alley&#8217; in Shinjuku.
